I made the "spec list" for the truck my priority, this truck has exactly the same as my last truck plus a little more, heavy tow package, skid plates for the diff and transfer case, tow hooks, heavy duty shocks, 3:92's, crew cab for the family, the truck totally fit the bill, and being the Big Horn with extras up from the SLT was a bonus. Love the dual exhaust with chrome bumpers. IMHO chrome as long as it isn't over-kill makes the truck look classy, besides I have yet to see another Western Brown hemi driving around.

I went to dealership with limited budget...the Sports are very nice but were a little more than I wanted to spend...all I wanted was brand new, 4 doors, 4X4, with a Hemi...found a great SLT on the lot...wasn't a fan of all the chrome but honestly it has grown on me. Very happy with my purchase so far...no problems after 3 months

i went in looking for a slt package and the sales men offered me a out doors men or big horn, i really dislike the two tone on the out doors men so that was out the door right away. I like the color matched bumpers on the sport a lot but i could not justify the extra few dollars plus here in Newfoundland a ram is the #1 truck on the road and 90% of them are white or black sports so i wanted to be different. So when i looked at my big horn in max steel and the way it matched the chrome I was in love!

I started my shopping for Chevy/Ford/Ram online and quickly ruled out the blue oval. Knowing I wanted a grey crew cab, I searched the local (100 mile) vehicle inventories until I found my must have's- grey Crew Cab, chrome bumpers, cloth int., running boards, console.
Drove the Ram and fell in love, drove the Chevy and fell asleep. Bought an Outdoorsman.

How about it Brandon...I think we ordered our trucks from the same dealer.
You ordered from Williamson Chrysler? And as attractive as it could sound to trade hoods I'm thinking ill keep mine.

Btw what did you think of the finance manager?

Yep...ordered march 12. The $800 to order the hood is not the issue , it's the price for a good paint job. Probably 2 grand by the time all said and done. I like it but not 2 grand worth. Maybe $1200 worth though ??????

Needed to trade my 2012 Charger for a truck and the SLT CC 2x4 fit my budget and needs. We have a Commander Limited 4x4/Hemi so I needed to make sure I got the best mileage I could in a truck.

I was already a fan of the Pentastar/8 speed setup from my Charger but even I was somewhat surprised at how well this combo works in a full sized truck. I do however wish there was a "sport" setting like in the Charger...that changed the shift points and really made that v6 shine.

bought mine used but I love the Big Horn Trim. Its has all the right options and the chrome looks good on it. Buying new I'd get another Big Horn.

I had just come from an 04 Tahoe LT that was fully loaded and an electrical NIGHTMARE! I looked at everything and how I felt it would hold up 10 years down the road and went with the Express. No screen driving me nuts with malfunctions, no air ride to blow out, no tv screen in my guages to go blank one day, no heated or power seats to burn out, but I still got the power stuff to make my truck not suck like windows and locks and all. Its got the fully painted bumpers and the hemi and all the basics I need inside and thats it. And it still is a real nice interior. Not work truck looking like most base pickups. After my Tahoe I couldnt be happier not owning a loaded truck. The Sport looks (aside from the headlights and led tails) and performs identical but was like 11000 more for a little bit nicer interior. No thanks lol.

Mostly logic.....I ordered a Quad Cab because there is usually only my son and I or my wife and myself in the truck now. I bought the truck mainly for doing home reno projects, so I wanted more bed space than passenger space. I bought a Laramie 1500 Quad Cab Hemi in Bright White with a Bright Silver strip on the bottom. IMO it's looks incredible....my son however would rather have it all in satin black with absolutely no chrome and when he saves enough money....he can.
