Default Quick Tranny opinion needed...

ok so i have an automatic 01 5.9 1500 sport, 80K miles.
Its at the point where i can be driving and all the sudden even though i am in D its like I am in Neutral. Does it in about every gear. Sometimes when I stop at a light and I hit the gas at the green, I got nothing.
In reverse I hear a rattling sound and same thing, if I can get the truck moving it's only a matter of time before I lose power and have to mess around with shifting to try to get power back. The pan underneath and in the bell area looks wet like it is leaking oil, but when I check the levels they are OK.
Soooo, is this tranny toast??
Thanks !

The oil could be the rear main seal but thats another issue. However I had a 98 dakota that did about the same thing and I ended up needed to get mine rebuilt. Great time to replace that rear main seal with the tranny out tho
