I don't have my 2013 Ram yet, but I've had good results with Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 Paste on my wife's Chevy Equinox. Very easy to apply and it keeps its shine for quite a long time.

Wax always seems to be a personal preference. You'll probably need to try a few different brands until you find one you like. My favorite has always been Simoniz paste wax.

Check out Zaino Brothers, been using it for over 15 years, easy on easy off and lasts 6 months on 3 coats, 1 year on 5, amazing product and if your arm hurts putting this on, your doing it wrong.

I am sure there are guys that will know much more than me but I have found and been recommended by friends that make a living detailing that to really make it shine it is more in the preparation than the final wax coat. It depends on what you want to do.

The best thing to do starting out is to make sure that you remove all contaminates that are currently on your paint. One easy and quick way to do this is by using a clay bar. A trick I have learned from the retailers is to use a spray wax with a mild cleaner in the solution as your lubricant for the clay(most important things to remember attempting to clay is to have a completely clean vehicle and if you drop it on the ground, throw it out.)

I must admit prior to this truck I had heard of clay but never used it. I thought my vehicle surface was clean. I usually follow up with a meguiars liquid wax I believe nxt is the one I like because I don't have trouble getting it off and lasts a good few months even with car washes.

This took me about 2 hours with wash, clay, and wax. [IMG][/IMG]

I really like Meguire's Ultimate Quick Wax. Spray on and wipe off with a microfiber towel. It is so easy and lasts really long for a spray on. Liquid Glass is another one I like a lot.
