I'm not normally a review guy but I needed to write this one. I didn't see much written here on the z about SOLO performance but my Challenger buddies swear by them. So I gave Steve and Jeff a shout to see what makes their system different. And let me tell you, these guys get that it's not just about raw performance for everyone, some of us want sound quality. Sound quality is not quiet or loud, it's refined. Like a great audio system, it makes your ears crave for more. So after they performed extensive electronic testing, the result is this system.
And what a system it is. The fit and finish is better than I've ever seen with flawless TIG welds and perfectly placed components. But the best part: the sound. Windows up, you feel the rumble and you know something is different. But drop that window even a crack and the music starts. I've owned many systems over the years but this is the first one that makes me want to turn off the radio and listen to my engine. Man the Hemi is a sweet sounding engine!
So take a bow my new friends at SOLO! Along with the JBS shorty headers your system is exactly what I was looking for.

Love the truck and the exhaust. How's she run with all the new exhaust goodies?
To be honest, I did a host of things all at the same time. Hemifever tune, 85mm TB, Vararam Air Grabber, and the exhaust. But as a package, unbelievable difference compared to stock. This truck flat out hauls and sounds great doing it.
Great write-up - thanks! I had been looking into a Magna-Flow 18" but after doing some research, I have been leaning toward the Solo Mach 44 22". I am looking at going with the muffler only on the stock dual pipes on my 2011 Big Horn. I'd be running this in conjunction with a K&N 77 series CAI that I am installing this week. Thoughts anyone? Thanks in advance!
