Default Two questions

I will be buying a Sport within the next couple of months, maybe sooner. My two questions are:

Is the air suspension really worth the wait?

Are the radio issues and other bugs worth waiting until they are more sorted out.

Thanks,
Clark

Well as far as the air suspension goes. If you plan on leaving it completely stock then yes the air suspension might be worth the weight (provided you want it's option such as lowering the truck to get in/out, auto leveling etc). But the actual ride quality between the air suspension and the standard suspension will not be a huge difference. The stock suspension on these trucks is already very smooth and comfortable. Now if you plan on doing anything to the truck such as leveling or lifting then you definitely do not want the air suspension as you'd have to rip it all out anyway... So that's something to keep in mind.

For the radio what you have to remember is that people will always post their bad experienced with products more often than their good experiences. So yes there's been a few complaints about the stereo bugs and all that stuff but for every 1 person having a problem there's probably 50 that work completely fine. Plus if you do have any problem the truck will be under warranty. Bring it back and tell them to fix it.

I owe it to myself to tell you that if you're taking the whole tribe cross-country, the Sport with the air suspension is the way to go. You think you hate it now, but just wait until you drive it.

Sorry, saw your username and couldn't resist

FYI I'm very happy with my air suspension (love being able to raise and lower the vehicle from the cab) and no major, deal-breaking issues with the radio. In fact, my only real issue with the radio is that it doesn't display some apps like I Heart Radio on the display but apparently that is "coming soon".

I hope I can get it in metallic pea green!

Thanks for the feed back. I think the air ride is nice but I really don't have any issues getting in and out of the truck.

I hope everyone's radio's get figured out soon but I know you will here a lot more negative reviews than positive ones. I was looking at a couple of window stickers on trucks and saw the transmission is from DE. Isn't that Denmark? I thought the ZF transmissions were from Germany.

That is the abbreviation for Deutschland which is the "correct" name for Germany.

OP, test drive them both. Make sure the tire pressures are to spec. I tested both on the same roads and over RR tracks. I could not tell the diff. my .02

So far it seems the only people that don't like the air ride are the people that don't have it. I have it on my Laramie. It was a $1,500 option. I have only had my truck 4 days but if I was ordering again I would still get it. I would get it at double the price. The ride is better than the coils but the coils ride good. The biggest difference is cornering. There is very little body lean in corners. Think driving a tall go kart. Plus it is cool as hell.

^ Well that's stating the obvious. People aren't going to pay for it if they don't like it.

Fair enough, good review and opinion.
