Whats scary about it? Iron bull claims they weigh 180/190 but it sure didnt feel like it. I picked up it up, carried it to the truck and held in place while a buddy bolted it up. Sure didnt feel 200lbs. The 12k winch felt jus as heavy.

Even then whats 180lbs...well minus the weight of your oem bumper so its not even that. Not sure where you were going with your comment

I bet the 180-200 weight is counting the winch. A good 12k will set you back another 80-100lbs.

I just worry about the materials making the bumper. If it's that light, then I worry about what's missing. Is it bracing, is it thin materials? I know some of the first replacements didn't have proper bracing, the first time you used the winch to a tow hook it would bend the frame to a point where you could no longer get it into alignment.

I don't know much about iron bull, so hearing those numbers are a little scary for me.

I'm not huge into offroading though. The only reason for me to add weight to the front is the video below. I plan on adding a winch, but I'm going reciever mount (For utility, two points to mount it on two different vehicles)

Iron Bull bumpers are the highest grade A36 de-scaled premium steel, means no mill scale for years of resistance against corrosion and the ultimate bond between the parent metal and finish coating. It's 3/16 inch thick to offer the greatest strength.

My bumper was right around 100-130 with my add-on. Extremely thick metal. My buddy who works construction and has a full replacement ranch hand was amazed at how much thicker and "beefier" it was then his (he now has an Iron Bull).

My bumper did not have tow hooks and I ended up deciding to do a full replacement as it changes the entire look of the truck and definitely is the largest attention grabber (even more than the lift).

Install is extremely easy. 2-4 hour job depending on how hard you work.

If you go with the stock style, I just took the tow hooks off mine last weekend when I put the body lift on.

I love the look of the white. Do you have to beef up the front at all for the Iron Bull's and can you install with 2" daystar lift? If I was deciding to go with IB are there any things that I should be aware of or you can recommend? I have an ST with stock black plain jane front Mopar skid plates, Aires 4" oval running boards and American Racing wheels and 17" A/T tires. And could someone suggest the best place to get Iron Bull from in Canada on the west coast Langley BC? And 1 final question which model is the white one?

Thanks Mike
