Default Finally got wheels and tires with the lift, fender flares?

So I got my truck back today with Eagle 197s in Superfinish 18" x 9", -12 offset and 35x12.5 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZs. I'm a little unsure as to what to do about fender flares. From what I've read on Bushwacker's website, the pocket flares offer up to 2.5" of coverage. The up to part of their description seems a little suspicious to me. The front sticks out about 2" and the rear is about 1.5". If they really do cover 2.5" I'm worried it might look a little goofy having the flares stick out past the tires that much. Any thoughts?

Truck looks awesome man! As for the fender flares I think they are always an awesome addition. I don't think it would look weird, but if you don't like it you could always add a little 1/4" wheel spacer to get a little wider stance.

well bushwacker pocket style are the biggest they have and yes they would go past your tires and as far as goofy looking goes it all depends on your licking i have them on my truck and absolutely love the look i get compliments all the time but its up to you i tell you they will go past your tire offset though.

Personally I wouldn't put flares on it. I like the clean look without them and having the tires stick out a bit looks good too. But if you did want them there are other options besides pocket style flares. OEM 2500 flares would look good, they don't stick out so far. Closer to 1.5" I think.

I think it looks really good as is, sometimes big flares cover up the tires and make them look smaller....those mtz's look good, my opinion leave it as is and show um off

Not running a flare isn't an option as I spend almost 3 weeks a month driving off road for work, I'd hate to see what would happen to the paint. Do the bushwackers have equal coverage front to rear? From the pics I've seen it looks like the rear don't stick out as far as the front.
