Default Dealer Oil change - BG MOA 110C additive?

I am due for an oil change and because of a credit I have with the dealer, I will take it back there. One thing I question is both Dodge dealerships in my city by default include BG MOA (110C) oil additive with the new oil. Is this something recommended by Dodge or just some other way of making a few bucks. I could understand if one of the dealers did it but both makes me believe this is being endorsed by Chrysler?
Anyone heard of this stuff? This is still a relatively new truck (under 20,000kms). It has had all oil changes performed by the dealer and they have always been adding this.
I guess I am wondering if I should let it continue or tell them no.
Thoughts?

BG's web site states it is for protection of engines that are exposed to extreme use, extreme temperatures etc.

In my opinion if you want to continue with it go for it. In my case though since it is not required for the warranty I won't be using it. Besides none of my vehicles are driven very hard. As far a cold/heat extremes goes I don't think MN weather is all that extreme.

Waste of money. Not required by Chrysler.
