I am 99.9% sure it is not an option until you hit the SLT trim level.

I ordered a Tradesman and Uconnect 5.0 was the best available.

I also have that problem.
Talked to a car stereo place today and he told me they were waiting on a harness replacement so they can do the aftermarket Alpine and others.
Will be able to do the indash Nav. with bluetooth and all the features when the harness is available.

He says it should be within about 6 weeks.

Buy yourself one of those tablets, like an iPad that has Navigation
It will easier on your wallet & it will cost less to update mapping
I use a GARMIN NUVI most times,
i also have DeLORME Earthmate that sits on my dash & plugs into my Laptop
http://shop.delorme.com/OA_HTML/DELi...&section=10091

The DeLORME has mapping that covers Canada & Mexico, as well as the USA

The Uconnect 5.0 RA2 radio does have Blue Tooth, but no NAV

I am also seriously considering getting this for all my distance traveling
