Default Squeeky factory radiator fan?

My truck has 95K on the tach and just the other day when I shut off the engine I heard something come to a squeeky stop. I was thinking it could be a belt idler or maybe the alternator. I turned the radiator fan over back and forth by hand and that is where the noise is coming from.

Just wondering, anyone know how expensive the fan drive is? Or should I even bother and go e-fan? Is the e-fan worth the cost/effort? I don't want to over-heat my engine and I have read a few e-fan horror stories. I know it will free up alittle power and alittle gas mileage. What would you do?
