It is probably because HIDs are gas filled bulbs where as stock bulbs are filament bulbs. Trucks that arent wired for HIDs will come up with an error when HIDs are installed because it does not recognize it has having a bulb installed. It is a common error with HIDs. With my previous HID set before I got them from RetroShop I had to buy a Warning Cancellor Capacitor which was designed to fool the computer into thinking there was a halogen bulb installed and not an HID bulb. Thanks for the advice, however this may be a bigger problem as why would my brake light out warning light be on....
Either way I will be bringing my vehicle back *sigh*.... why o why did Chrysler have to make getting HID's this difficult on these trucks...
