So many interesting professions and people. Great idea for a thread!
I started my career as a tool and die maker, worked my way into engineering and then management. I ran several companies that were suppliers to the auto industries, like heavy stampings (mostly underbody parts), interior parts, ash trays, cup holders, glove boxes, etc., and also ran a company that supplied automotive sunroofs. The last job I had before retiring last year was as the president and part owner of a company that supplies chrome tubular products (engine guards, luggage racks, some handle bars) to Harley-Davidson.
Sorry my response was so long winded but when I look back over my career it seems long winded!
