Default Remote start heated wheel/seats not working?

New to the forum just picked up my '13 Laramie and this morning I remote started the truck and the thermometer read 42 degrees however the steering wheel or seat warmers were not on. I checked the setup and it had seat and steering wheel on in the setup menu. Has anyone else had this problem or know what Ram considers "Cold conditions". Thanks in advance.

I believe it is below 40 for the heated seats and steering wheel and above 80 for the AC seats. Hope this helps

Previous posts have stated that 44 is the magic number for the seats and steering wheel but I haven't read that anywhere else but here. (maybe I should check the book, lol)

You could probably read on here ALL DAY about the number of people who have faulty ambient temperature thermometers. Just waiting on Ram to update software that actually fixes it. When I first bought my truck they replaced the sensor but it didn't help.

I thought the last update I did fixed it because it seemed better. It was a warm day and pretty close to where it should be. Next time we had a cold snap it was way off again.

I'm having the same issues. Keep your paperwork for any warranty work you be done. We'll see if Chrysler will get this fixed and honor any issues after our warranty's are up for previously known problems.
