I am in the market for a tonneau cover for my soon to be crew cab sport, I live in canada so need something to withstand the winters, I like a hard folding cover, was looking at the backflip but a couple of things I dont like, someone mentioned there is a drain hose into the bed?? and it blocks the back window when folded up. Does anybody have any other suggestions? I also looked at the retractable covers but I figured it would be a pia in the winter.

I'm curious if anyone has some pictures of the Mopar fiberglass cover, besides the one stock photo that they use.

Take a look at the Bak Roll-X. I ordered one but haven't received it yet

I looked at the roll-x but like I said, I would be worried about being able to open it in winter, also wonder how durable it is compaired to the bakflip f1

On the page 2 i said about peragon covers. That may work for you. Its a hard cover but collapses in, so you can get almost full bed access quickly.

Default Retrax: noisy when underway?

I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn and am close to purchasing a Retrax One after much research. My biggest concern having checked around a bit is that I have heard some negative feedback about the noise of the panels as they shift around due to highway wind buffeting or uneven roads. Anyone had these issues? How about longevity issues? I've heard a couple of stories about panel separation post warranty period. I'm thinking maybe the Retrax Pro with Aluminum panels while more expensive may be better and less noisy?

Thoughts anyone?

I have taken a serious look at the BakFlip G2 along with the BakBox, looks nice on the trucks and looks to be functional. Problem is I don't know what the ins and outs are of bed covers. Any advise and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,

I got a retrax one... Works great I have a black truck and the cover is painted the same as my truck... So question the best in my opinion..... Looks great. U can stop it anywhere on the rails.... And holds out water very well...
Remember u get what u pay for....

i have a bakflip f1 on my sport. its the best cover in my opinion. yes it covers the back window when folded up but that actually protects your window when tossing stuff into the bed. its the main reason i chose this over the roll-x.

Everyone needs to check out the fold a cover g4 elite. It the most secure cover I've seen. They have plenty of YouTube videos out about that cover and compares them to the backflip. It doesn't sit flush like the back flip neg point on that but it does open and lock front and rear. It also has the best caddy on the market. When my sport come in I will be purchasing it.
