It is rare you will see my bash any brand, as I have run just about all of them (except Zone, I dislike them). However, when I find a kit that I firmly like and believe in, I will push them.

All kits have pros and cons. No kit is perfect IMO. Just like there is no perfect truck. All have pros and cons. Just like I believe my Ram had more pros than Chevy or Ford I also believe RCX has more pros than other brands. But I do not "bash" other kits or other member's trucks and/or decisions with their trucks.

I'm just gonna leave it at that. Fellas need to do some research on all of them.

I'm with Tyler, I won't wont ever buy a TransAmerican Wholesale product...

Also on all 3 of these forums, Thor09 had the pleasure of owning an 09 quadcab and now a 12 quadcab. The '09 had the BDS 6" with Bilstiens and his '12 has the RCX 6" with Bilstiens. He installed both lifts himself and it might come to a surprise that he prefers the RCX over the BDS in all avenues...

Dirty p Rethink Kore, first hand experience here. My top notch vote goes to Pure Performance

That was well said....And honestly having been though it, it just makes for hard decisions. Because i know you guys know your stuff, but locally in DFW for me anyway, every shop had thier pros and cons but no one would recommend rcx.

Carli is amazing.. but for the price I could buy another truck

Pure performance is my favorite company value wise. They are extremely high quality but have a fairly aggressive price.

brand piss match..love it..don't do a 4" and add bilsteins tho..just do 6" to begin with..if want the height might as well do 6" kit..you would have to add spacers to keep rake with 3" coils ..another reason to do 6" kit

Oh wow. This went off the rails a wee bit but to address a few things...

I've decided 4 over 6 for a few reasons, but mostly because I still need to use the bed and hoisting heavy shit up into a lifted truck isn't easy for a dude who is only 5'8".

The Bilsteins were for ride quality/handling. I'd heard the shocks with the Zone kit were kinda...poopy. I'm looking for second opinions (and I got em!). Maybe the bilsteins aren't worth the upgrade? Also, could I just buy fixed shocks for the front end and save a little coin since I'm not looking for any more lift?

Zone over RCX cuz that's what the local shop carries and they seemed pretty high on 'em. They carry BDS also of course but that's a lil more than I want to spend. I'll have to dig a little deeper on the RCX kits even though I'll probably wind up more confused than I am now. Any other brand out there worth a look?

That's what I figured with the wheel. Not fond of the 18 so I'll find a 20 wheel I like w/ a -12 offset. That was my original plan anyway.

Thanks for the feedback
