Default another exhaust thread

Let me first apologize for starting ANOTHER thread about exhaust selection! Please don't kill me

Based on all the reading on here I think I have a decision but just looking for confirmation.

2013 Big Horn Quad Cab w/ 5.7 Hemi

I want to hear it when I start it, little rumble just driving around and to get a good rumble if I am accelerating hard.

Since buying the truck 2 weeks ago it has quickly become the family vehicle for wife and I and 2 kids. I work in a professional environment and weekly take a client or two to lunch. For those purposes I don't want to have it obnoxious, loud inside, etc.

I am not looking a complete cat back, just a muffler swap.

Am I making a good choice with Magnaflow 18"

I think that the magnaflow 14 would even be acceptable but that's just my .02 as I run a flowmaster 44. I have heard a few ppl saying the 18 is to quiet and they wish they would have went with the 14. Personally I would go on youtube and listen to a few hemi ram vids with magnaflow exhausts to get a better idea before you pull the trigger.

good luck!

You'll be happy with your choice.

Seems to fit your requirements well.

Good call.

I think it will be quieter inside the truck for the 4 door owner's vs. the reg. cab guys. There is more sound deadening material between the driver and the muffler.

i dunno..with the other things you said, I would do a 5 x 11 x 22" magnaflow... you mention family, professional and clients... I use to run a 50 series flowmaster and i was almost embarrassed to have passengers unless they liked to hear exhaust... when I installed a 22", from the outside it almost sounds the same as the shorter mufflers but incab it is about half the the sound and resonance but you could still hear it..
