I got an assortment pack of Cooper-Bussman Micro Fuses from AutoZone. They were in the fuse section and have a yellow package labeled ATR.

Default Solution

I am going to order one of these today. It is the only possible solution I have found so far.... Scroll down to the pigtail tap.

have all the fuses changed over to this style or just a select few "impostant" ones?

I just took a regular fuse tap and did a little trimming and bending on it with dikes and needle nose. Took about 30 seconds to make it fit/work just fine in the '13 fuse panel.

There is a fuse for the rear 12V outlet that has two position provisions. Moving it makes the rear 12V outlet constant hot instead of keyed. Moving it also leaves a known ignition-on hot slot open in the fuse panel - that's where I put the tap after a few seconds massaging it into the smaller required shape.

Easy-easy. Cheap-cheap.

P.S...

There are at least a couple spare fuses in the fuse block of my '13.

The map/legend of fuses is printed on the inside of the fuse box lid. It lists the spares and their location.

You have a lot more patience than I do. I tried to mod one a few months ago and gave up and hooked a stripped wire around the tip and was done with it. Now I have to install the same kit on my personal truck and would like to make sure it's a cleaner install. The pigtail tap is the only Micro2 tap I have been able to find.

This is just plain stupid...I blew a 20A fuse on my 2013 Ram 1500 and no auto parts or hardware store I've found has them...Oh what a feeling
