Question Mopar molded running boards

Hello all,

I've been back and forth on running boards/side steps for my 2013 silver quad cab sport. Does anyone have the mopar bright silver molded mopar running boards installed and how do you like them? What about black boards on a silver ram? All pics would be appreciated.

Well I bought the silver mopar running boards. I will post some pics when I get them installed tomorrow so others have examples of the looks on a sport.

Subscribed.

Can you take pics of the mounting brackets/system? Specifically showing how they mount?

Okay, so I installed them on the weekend. Rather easy. Took about an hour and a half. It would have went quicker, but had to fix the rivnut tool mopar provided because it seized. Mounting is identical to the previous year trucks. Install the rivnuts, then mount the boards (brackets are preinstalled). The only thing that is different between the 2012 and the 2013 that I could tell is that you don't need to predrill anything.

They look alright, but i wished that they would have lined up more with the back of the cab, and not extended past. If anyone knows something I overlooked, please let me know. I hope the upload works, if not i will retry.

Hmmmm. Did I maybe post something wrong? In the wrong area? Nobody likes the look? Nobody has any comment?

Thanks TLSXD. No they are stock mopar bright aluminum running boards. I like them but think they could have been centred more on the cab. Everything lined up perfectly so must be the new way the boards are for 2013.
