Can you slide the bars forward? Most aftermarket ones, you can. I like the looks of them, but I think they should be slid forwards a tad, and I hate the mounting system of the Mopar bars.

Okay,

Here's two pics on the mounting of the boards. The first one shows under the running board. This is all fully assembled out of the box. I took this one to show that i have no room to loosen the nuts and slide the board forward. I guess this has changed with the 2013 rams. Sucks but oh well.

The second pic is on the four bolts that go through the bracket into the truck. The two larger bolts go through the bracket into the rivnuts. The two smaller, closer together bolts go through the sheet metal under the drivers and passenger doors. These were predrilled from factory, a plus for the 2013's compared to previous years.

As the brackets really line up perfectly for installation, this leaves little room to move back and forth.

Hope this helps and is what everyone wanted. They install exactly like oval mopar bars would.

Default Fitment

I realize I'm a year late on this but in researching the boards I wanted I almost didn't buy these because of they extended past the cab until I realized this truck pictured is a quad cab not crew. The boards are apparently the same for both. Makes no sense mopar doesn't make one for quads that fit right.
