To start out I got all the small things I wanted. Got my plates on. What I got in the mail was my stubby antenna and my cabin air filter. I must say the cabin air filter was a little difficult since I had a dull knife.

Stubby antenna

Extra adapters and covers

Installed up close

Installed away some

Don't mind the dirty truck. I am in the oilfield so it's gonna happen.

Now is the cabin air filter.

Tools needed....really sharp knife or dremel, gloves (show you why), flat head screwdriver.

The filter. It's a carbon filter so it gets that little extra out of the air. When I turn the ac on the air immediately takes that musty dirt smell where I work at away.

This cover will take a little figuring out on you own to get it to snap in. There will be times that it will trick you to think you got it but just do one side at a time if it gives you problems.

First off remove your glove box. It's simple. Just open it then on the top sides push it in and pull down. Viola gone.

Right when you get it open and look in you will see this. This will be where you cut and install the filter and clamp in the cover.

Before you cut take out your fan. There is three screws. This is where you will need your flat head. If your cutting and debris falls in and you don't know kiss yor fan goodbye.

This is how I cut it. No need to cut the small lower part. Also this might be why gloves is important maybe. There is a lot of sharp things under there.

You got to bleed for your truck.

Some of the filter will stick out but no worries, that's what the cover is for. The filter was a little bit of a squeeze but it will go trust me.

This is with the cover on. Took a little bit but it's on right and looks good actually.

So that's the cabin air filter install. One of the many installs comin soon. Stay tuned for more. Thanks for reading.

Yup, done those 2, great mods, the cabin air filter is such a "you need to do this mod" mod. Inexpensive and so worth it. Great stuff, Reps the laugh and for sharing with pics.

I agree. Within a minute everything smelled so much better in my truck after turning it on. Most all of my mods will have tons of pics and a walkthrough even though most threads already got it but it don't hurt to add it in there.

True true, love the cabin air filter one of the best simple mods that can be done, and it is worth it for sure. Can't wait to see what you do next

Thanks
Jeremiah
