Default Rack and Pinion Info

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 V8, not sure of the gen but its the same model as the 2003-2--5.

I have read many articles on a popping, cracking noise when turning the wheel and pretty much have followed thru on replacing the following parts; sway bar bushings, stabilizer links, upper and lower ball joints, wheel hubs, upper control arm bushing and shocks, and bought new wheels and tires then had an alignment, and still the problem did not go away. The only thing left is the rack and pinion.

I cannot find any literature on how to do this so I am in need of your assistance. Any literature or a video, maybe some pics on how this should be done will be greatly appreciated...
