Default Laramie QC chrome door molding placement?

I just bought the chrome door moldings for my truck and the Mopar parts did not come with instructions for placement. Does any one have the measurements? or can someone measure your truck and let me know where Dodge put them on your truck?

Thanks in advance.

Found this pic on the web...

I got the same side moldings also from eBay exact but I have put them too low I was suppose to put them on the surface that's sticks out the most which is the middle of the door if I can remember make shure your moldings are 1 1/4 from each edge of your doors then when you have mounted then temporary use tape every 5 inch real tight and you have to let set for 1 day and a half

1-1/4" from the edge? From both edges, aka in the middle?

I am really interested how far above the two tone paint line they are?

Hey you found my truck!

I am not at home or else I would have the instructions for mounting them! I followed the instructions for the most part and then just winged it.

The instructions measure the distance out in millimeters and not inches.

Here is a better shot for you.

Hopefully these will give you a better idea...

Found what I was looking for.

Go here: http://www.autotrucktoys.com/ram/Mop...-PRD27457.aspx

Input a 2009 Ram 1500 QC and then hit view installation guide. You will see the same instructions that I got for the mopar one's on my truck.

Arth,
How odd that I found your truck in a google search and then you found this thread.

Thanks a lot for you help. You gave me exactly what I needed.

In case anyone else stumbles across this thread. The molding get installed 23mm above the two tone line and start 21mm behind the leading edge of the door.

btw, nice truck.
