I just got the letter for my 2010 as well. My truck has 75,000 miles on it, I figure if it hasn't failed yet it probably won't. I'm taking it to NC towing 4,000 lb tomorrow night, hope all goes well.

I'll take it in when they contact me. Maybe I can convince them to do a LSD and 3.92 if I pay for parts................................

Now that's some good mileage you got snrusnak! And still going! That'd be cool if your dealer could do the 3.92 swap for ya.

56K on my 09 Hemi. Just received the letter as well but knew about this for almost 6-7 months now from the forum.

I am REALLY Hesitant to even let Dodge touch my truck! Up till now, I've done complete oil replacements in all orifices
I've chnaged the Rear Diff fluid and Cover to a Mag-Hytech! and ALLL oil is AMSOIl except motor oil (Mobil 1 full synth 5-20)

NOw i have to let these guys at my REAR!

Question: Do they have to drain or touch my rear diff cover or oil? Or are they just going to go in from the driveshaft?
FML!

Well I went the 1,400 mile trip last weekend and no issues. Well unless you consider towing at 12mpg an issue lol.

Yeah....all orifices except for yours and that's prolly where they'll go in at . At least that's what it'll feel like after they're done!

In order to take the pinon nut off, they do not need to touch the diff cover. Unless they take the whole pinon out, they should not have to touch the fliud either.

I stopped by the dealer last weekend to pick up the cabin filter cover and had the service department pull up my vin and see if the recall is on. Sure was along with the HAVC and seat one. Which both the HAVC and seat seem fine. As useallt he said there no parts for the pinion nut recall.

He said it will be fine as long as you dont hear any noises. He said if you hear something bring it in. LOL
Thanks for advice...

Just makes me nervous carrying my 3 month old around.
