Default Thinking about trading in my ram

I currently have a 2011 ram outdoorsman with under 20k miles on it. It's a quad can hemi with backup cam and navigation. I line-ex'd the bed also. I need a crew cab since my daughters legs are already kicking me from her car seat and she's only 19 months. There are very few minor scratches on the paint (most were there when I bought the truck). Nothing wrong with the interior that I'm aware of. I have 4 years left on my loan but have paid extra on it every month and have dropped the min payment down over $100 so it would be paid off pretty early.

A 2013 crewcab would be lovely but I'm trying to keep my payments where they are ($450/month) or lower. Maybe a new 2012 is more feasible? What kind of deal can I expect? Is it a bad time to trade? I want all the features that I have now also because I've gotten used to them and I love them! Lol

I just got thre PW in December (2012) the were wanting to move it and I got a great deal - I had an 06 2500 4x4 quad cab with about 60000 miles on it - the dealer gave me 18K on the trade in.

Default Same Truck

I just traded that same truck and miles (paint was perfect); i got $26,440 when it was all said and done..... like pulling teeth, i paid $12,750 out the door for a 13 fully loaded (except leather) MSRP was $47,000
they don't want to give you KBB for your trade because for a few thousand more you can have a 13 at invoice

Your truck should get $27,000 (KBB; Good Condition), All the dealers were at $26,000 on my truck

Stay with your truck untill you have the title but then again with good credit your looking at 1.89%

yeah i went with a crew cab for that exact reason my kid cant reach my seat and he is 30 months. plus the rear air is nice. you could always go with the low mileage 12' and get it much cheaper and keep it under those payments with a good interests rate. if your anywhere in the west, im even selling my 10' with 26k miles for under 30k and it has a 9" lift and all kinds of goodies.

I have a 2011 outdoorsman quad cab also, 19,000 miles now but 16,000 when I wanted to trade. Owe 24k - but it's a sorry 4.7l. Perfect condition and was offered 20k with a smirk to 21k maybe for a 2012 slt 5.7 crew in march. My note is also about 450 a month. I don't like the truck, it's the wife's and she doesn't drive it so I'm stuck with it. Don't know how outdoorsman1985 got his deal but I've never had anything near that good.

$26,440 + 12750 = 39,190

not unreasonable for no leather. Close to invoice pricing. But far from $47k MSRP. I like you, have not heard of 13's being discounted THAT much yet!

If your considering a 2012, do yourself a favor and just get the 2013, or you will end up with buyer's remorse, they are more refined than ever. I had 35, 000 miles on my 2010 SLT, and they gave me $22, 000 on trade.

My 11 was a Crew The 13 8spd quad 4x4 was 42890 invoice - 5000 in rebates (including $500 military) - $26,445.40 purchase price of $11,444.60
+ 743.90 in tax ... I was estimating the first time

I traded a crew for a quad, just me and the black lab 90% of the time
still love the truck, get the air ride you'll be glad you did

I ordered a '13 crew sport. I didn't get air ride because its pretty expensive and it brought my payments up to much. I got $26000 for my old truck $500 bonus cash, and another $2700 in rebates. I might add the 3.92 gears since I didn't think about that while ordering.

I got:
Crew cab hemi 8-speed
Tru-blue monotone
Tubular side steps
Upgraded to the 8.4" radio
Backup camera
Park assist
Push button start
4x4
Premium buck seats
Convenience package

That's all I can remember right now. There were no '12s with what I wanted anywhere near me.
