Default Swap??? 5.9 magnum to 5.7 Hemi?

So guys i'm new on here and just bought a new to me 02 Ram 1500 sport quad 4x4 5.9. I have found a 5.7 hemi and trans from an 08 for 2800 I dont have the cash rt now so no hury but want to figure it all out. Can I swap it in or do I need to find one from a 03-05? What else will I need to make it work? I really like the Idea of the newer style Hemi in it better on gas more power stock and so on. I dont plan on using it as a tow rig more as a toy/money pit. so if anyone cane give me some pointers or if you have done this how dificult was it to do? Do you think I can sell my 5.9 and trans with 180k on them to help ofset the cost at all? Thanks in advance for any thoughts or info on this.
