Default '02 Ram Headlight assy help

Just swapped out my headlight assemblies for some OEM replacements...I got tired of refinishing the old ones every 30 days.

My issue is the fit of the replacements.
Both assemblies stick out in the front and their outboard sides

I searched the bejeebers out of these forums for a particular post by one of the long time members who, posted there is a tab/bracket/ something that has to be removed to get the proper fit. I cannot find that post !

The mounts for the adjuster screws can be trimmed, I guess but they don't appear to be much deeper than the originals.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hmm that's weird. I don't know the thread your talking about, but maybe try looking at the old and new assemblies side by side for any difference or anomalies. that might help reveal whats causing the problem.

if you find a solution and that original thread can't be located, make a new thread in the knowledge section so other members that come across this issue in the future can read about a solution.
