Default Switch Dealership?

I figured this may be the right section for this...but not sure.

I was curious if it's possible to switch to a different dealership during a factory order? If not, is it possible to switch at least the person who gains the commission on the order?

My truck is currently in D status.

Thanks

Not to sure if that is possible you could change the dealer it is delivered to I would think but not sure if you could switch the person who made the sale.

Thanks

Just curious as to why you would want to change dealership?

Having a very bad experience with the person I purchased the vehicle from. Avoiding calls and emails about very simple questions and not giving an answer. Example: I was told I was in D1 status, so I asked for my estimated ship date. During a 3 week period, I had called twice and emailed 3 times because I was at first concerned he wasn't getting my emails. As soon as I ask for an update, I receive a response right away. I then proceed to ask for the estimated ship date, and I don't hear from him again for another week...and still never got my answer.

I know it sounds silly, but I was hoping that with the $50K bill I'm having to pay, I could get a bit of customer service as well.

You can ask to deal with the Sales Manager directly

That won't keep your current sales person from getting a commission, it is after all his/her sale, but it will get some attention & maybe a little behind the scenes butt chewing

I would go the social media route. Voice your dissatisfaction on the dealerships yelp, twitter, facebook. I bet that you would get a call from upper management real quick.

xmanofsteel,

You should just follow the VOTS website & read the comments on this site
i will see if i can find the Thread on the subject

don't bother reading all the pages of this thread, just start at about page 95, it is updated quite often by members

I would love to use VOTS...but it's not available in Canada ...unless you know a way for me to track it that way?

I had some issues when I bought my truck and it wasn't till I got the sales manager involved that I saw my concerns and issues addressed. Having said that I did a poor review with yelp and google and emailed Crysler Canada. So the combination seems to have turned things around to my liking.
