Default Parking lot dent!

So I come out of a local store and noticed my rear bumper has a dent in it, it got pushed hard enough to scratch the paint also...Not a happy camper at this point!

I'm still debating on what to do with the bumper but that scratch is down to metal and something had to be done. I didn't really want to put this on my insurance and not sure if I want to drop the cash to have it done right so for now it has been touched up......I hate that phrase!

Got it all clean and dry

Put a little primer

Bought some paint

Put several thin coats with a small brush

I have a similar dent! I thought I was a pro at backing into parking spots. Wasn't paying attention and slow rolled into a tree. Small dent on bumper and tailgate, luckily do paint damage. But...I keep seeing it every time I go behind my truck and getting more and more tempted to replace my bumper.

Kate got the exact dent in our bumper backing up to a van that was backing up and they touched. A new bumper is $559.00 so when I change bumpers it will be an after market one. I usually park in 2 spots or by myself away from other scumbags!!!

Yea I was expecting to find a note with contact info but nothing, it's a sick feeling! I even asked the store if they had a camera pointed in that direction but no luck....probably a good thing because at that point I was so mad I had no intentions of calling the police. Eventually I'll buy a bumper and take it to the body shop for a proper repair

I feel your pain, the wife doesn't drive my truck much and I know when she does the same care isn't taken in parking lots as I do. When she got back, there it was, a ding on the side of the bed. Smaller then a dime but to me it's just as bad as the whole side being caved in. (Maybe not) well you know what i mean. Not even 6 months old. Anybody have expirience with paintless dent removal? Have seen some videos on this and maybe it might ease my mind and all of us with a ding and I'm not talk about the female behind the steering wheel.
