Default Cracks in my dash. Any solutions??

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this without replacing it? Or is that my only option for it to look good? Thanks for the input

back when your vehicle was produced, they used a material that did not hold up to sun, heat, etc. being so close to the windshield made it even worse
another thing they did wrong was the screws were tightened so that the material was not allowed any movement

The after market products use a different material, both the cover skin or the actual replacement dash
http://www.dashcover.com/dodgeramdash.html
this site has a short video on how to
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
this is also only a cover skin, not a full replacement, full video

I did a few of these on 3rd gen rams for buy here pay here lots. They look good if you take your time and install it right. Also some crazy glue helps on the edges.

Cover it or replace it. I've replaced the front piece, now I have to replace the main one.

This is truly one of the crappiest things about the early third gen trucks. Most people want to fix it because it looks bad and stares you in the face every time you get in your truck. Sadly, there is no easy or cheap repair. I really feel for you guys that are dealing with it and hope I never have to.

If you decided to cover it, say your heater core goes, is the dash going come out just as the original piece would or would it be harder? Sorry for dumb question.
