Default Peeling emblems, anyone have this issue?

I hand washed my truck for the first time and noticed before I even applied any soap that the black on my Ram head emblem on the tailgate is peeling

and the top of the letters of my Ram 1500 on the driver's side are peeling

as well as the black of my hemi badge on the driver's side is peeling

Just curious to see if this is a common issue. I don't want to debadge but I may have to replace them

Never checked mine, debadged it in less than 2 days and my topper has a full door that replaced the tail gate.

How come the first two pics are from a mineral grey truck and last is white?

I'm at work so no camera available so I had to use pics of the internet so people have an idea of what emblems I'm talking about.

Ya my 4x4 tailgate emblem is quite peeled as well. The rest seem to be pretty good as of now.

It's not peeling - on the 1500 emblems anyway. I thought I had the same problem. Turns out whatever glue is on the tool that installs the emblems, it leaves residue on the emblems. Spray some WD 40 on a paper towel and it will come off with a little elbow grease. I was pissed till I figured out what it was. It's all good now.

well that would explain why I couldn't find where they were peeling.. LOL

I've not personally experienced this issue

I looked at the first pic for like 5 minutes trying to figure out where it was "peeling"
