Default binding noise/brakes sticking in rear?

when i stop then take off sounds like something binding in rear end or brakes sticking. when come to a stop and turn L or R the sound is louder and easier to hear. i listened from outside the truck with someone else pulling off slowly and it sound like its inside the drum on both rear drums. anyone have an idea of what this could be? could both wheel cylinders be bad? when i get some time i was going to puill of the drum and see what it looks like inside. any ideas would be great. thanks trucks a 2000 ram 1500 5.2L

When was the last time that you serviced the rear end

Does it have any fluid in it

It may be the wheel bearings, but it could be something way more serious

Good luck

not meaning to thread jack

at first i thought it was the wheel bearings so i replaced the and inspected the rear end gears while one of the wheel bearings were on it's way out they were not shot and it still does it after i put the new ones in however i am going to replace the wheel cylinders next weekend and see if that fixes the problem it sounds like a sticky rear break and it only does it when the breaks/rear end gets good and hot also it only makes the sound when i stop completely and go again until the wheels make about 2 or 3 fill turns then it stops untill i stop again but like i said it only does it after about 25 or 30 miles of driving

I'd be checking your U -joints, based on your description. And I would check your pinion bearing and check your rear diff fluid level.
Lastly, if your truck has a limited slip differential, nothing else is bad, and you abuse it, you may want to pop off your rear cover and make sure you didn't break some of the retaining washers that hold the plates in place. That's a long shot.

I think it may be the abs rear speed sensor gone out.
