The parts are unavailable as you can see from Roadrunners pic.
While his dealer was able to go to Curt and buy the hitch, the mounting kit is not available and there is a diffference between 2011/ 2012/ 2013... That's why his dealer was unable to get the "entire" kit...

While we can see it's installed and might work... There's no way I'm going to let a dealer "modify" the install kit to make it work. I'd just choose to wait until the 2nd week of July and have it all installed correctly with no mods needed.

Roadrunner, did your dealer tell you about warranty?

No they didn't say anything about a warranty. I don't know what they had to do to make it work, but it looks very professional & heavy duty and I have no worries about it. If they wouldn't have told me what they did I would have had no idea that it wasn't a 2013 mounting kit. I sure as hell wasn't waiting until July to get a hitch!

By the way...this was Curt's recommendation to get the hitch installed.

Truck and hitch work great! I towed a 1 ton dump truck with a contractor bed on it, on a fifth wheel trailer last weekend. I love the integrated trailer brake controller! The truck just really tows better than my 08.

I'm thinking about going with the Reese under-bed option. I want to be able to use both 5th wheel and gooseneck on the same setup. It also only puts a few puck looking things in the bed so it's fairly clean.

Did they really change the 2013 frame that much, or is it just that no one is really sure what fits yet? My grill guard was a "Modified fit" when translated to removing two "Crash bumpers" under the front that didn't exist in 11 and back. I'm guessing at most it would be just something added or removed from the same frame.

I also like the under bed hitch, but I got this set up for free so I couldn't really complain! LOL I do pull a gooseneck trailer sometimes but I have an adapter for the trailer that converts it to a fifth wheel king pin.

I've only seen the reverse, never one that converted a gooseneck. My issue is I would be pulling other people's goosenecks.

Yeah the trailer I pull is my brother's. It takes about 2 minutes to change the king pin adapter out for the gooseneck pin.

Here is a picture of the 5th wheel king pin installed on the trailer and a picture of the gooseneck part not installed.

The rails are for a 2012 and the mounting brackets are for a 2011 that have been customized. This is the Dodge Ram dealer that I bought my truck at. Everything looks good. I can't wait to hook up my camper and try this new truck out!!!
Looks good. You need a bed liner in there!
