Angry smoking and stalling at times

I got a 97 1500 5.9 it was burning a ton of oil so I pulled the heads and of course they were junk so I got a set of reman heads got them on new plenum gasket and all still smoking a bit when in higher rpms and when I downshift. then when it sits and I start it it will pour smoke.

the other problem im having that idk about is it randomly stalls with no warning and wont start back up unless I let it sit for 5-10 mins then runs fine like nothing happened

any help with either problem would be great

I've seen this exact problem before, as it seems to be common with 2nd gen 5.9's. I hope this can help:
-seafoam your brake booster&gas
-clean your air filter
-clean your PCV valve
-*check your battery connection* dodges are touchy with the battery
If that doesnt fix it quick, i would look at your idle air controller valve or O2 sensor . My friend had to retune his TPS and the IAC. 02 and perge valve could be replaced if all else fails.
