The first thing I see is the oversize tires - this makes me think your odometer and speedometer aren't calculated correctly. What gears are in this truck? Is the MIL on and are there any codes? Are the O2 sensors old or have they ever been changed? How about maintainance, has it been tuned up in the last 30k miles? Are you running fuel with ethanol in it, or 100% gasoline?

There you go. P0133 indicates a slow response from the 1/1 O2 sensor which is a primary sensor used for calculating the fuel curve. The P0171 indicates a lean condition which means the PCM will be trying to enrich the fuel mixture. Replace the upstream sensor, clear the codes and run a couple of tanks of fuel through it and track your MPG. You should see an improvement.

Will do the upstream tomorrow and see hopefully it will improve a good bit. I have checked for gas leaks and have none. The k&n air filter is new. Oils been changed. So hopefully the o2 will fix most of the problem. Thanks

Seems likely it's the O2 sensor. If it's still not running great after the fix you could try plugs/wires/etc, cheap tune up parts.

I believe coolant damages O2 sensors, so if the you get the same code shortly after the fix, you may have a coolant leak in the engine. Just a thought, I'm not positive it that error would be caused by this.

sounds about right for that vehicle at that many miles though. Just listen to everybody's advice and remember the best fuel saver is your foot.
