Default Air conditioning and questions?

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi air conditioning was weak after this winter. Mechanic said it was 1/2 lb low added dye but could find no leak and said to come back in two weeks and he would look again. Has anybody else experienced this problem? Another quick question the rev limiter? keeps the truck from exceeding 105 mph how and what needs to be done to fix that issue. Do any of the power chips actually help performance and gas mileage? Sorry third question. Thanks for any help. Love my Red Truck.

I haven't had any problems with my AC. I'd say do what your mechanic says, fill it up and then check it again in a couple weeks to make sure it isn't leaking. If it's low again they start digging into the system looking for the leak.

The rev limiter doesn't stop the truck from exceeding 106 MPH.... the speed limiter does. If by power chips you mean tuners, then yes. They are by far the best easy mod to increase power, torque, and fuel economy. They also have the option to up the speed limiter if you feel the need to do so. Along with many other options. Check out Bully Dogs, and Diablosports websites. You'll find some good information in the tuners.

Keep in mind that your tires are speed rated and may not be suitable (dangerous) for speeds over 105.

Well said.
