Good idea S.C. i'll look into that......I just dont want to get too involved with peformance upgrades.....been through it with mustangs and lightnings for years.

A lot of what we are discussing is ideal situation if you are looking to go for higher power levels. Like everything else, you mod to the level you want to. You can easily just weld in the y-pipe and cut out the resonators and you'll still be happy. It's not like you're building a system to flow enough air to keep a supercharger happy.

I would have gotten a 6.4L 300C, but I need the bed space and I would refuse to take my car on the dirt roads to work... most importantly, the truck isn't available with a 6.4L, so a built 5.7L it is.

I always wondered why corporate didnt make an SRT Ram Sport 1500.....the best of both worlds....now that would be in my garage!

Wonder how many members on the site would go for that?

First thing I looked into before buying my RAM. I would have paid to upgrade to a 6.4L in a heartbeat.

I was also looking into the 6.2L F150s and the 6.1L Silverados but knew I liked the Chrysler more..even with the 5.7L. Ecoboost is amazing but just cant commit to anything but a v8 truck.

Off topic sorry. Anyway, I probably wont be installing my ypipe if anyone wants it.
