Default mobile super 5000 5w 20?

Is this oil any good. Im about to do my first oil change myself on my ram. Right at 14000 miles. I had dodge do my other 2 because of some crap that happened for free. And now I am out of free oil changes. So I went to walmart and saw this oil. And its 13.99 for 5 quarts plus the other 2. And wanted to make sure that this oil is safe for my hemi. I see it meets fords requirments but dont see any dodge. I only drive average a day 10 miles a day. When im not going to the track. Would this oil be good for a at least 4000 mile interval. Oil changes. Please let me know

If anything you need the best oil you can buy because of how little you drive, as it hardly even gets hot. You should really stick to oil that meets Chryslers standards, as they know the insides of these motors better than anyone. Click the link in my Sig to check out Amsoil.

I agree with what bighemi04 says, and feel the same about my truck which is why I use full synthetic oil, I have though looked at the oil you mention, and after reading the reviews and the information at Mobile about there oil, I would feel ok using that oil in my truck if I was a bit tight on my money

here is some information about that oil

http://www.mobil.com/USA-English-LCW...uper-5w20.aspx

here is a product spec verification for the 5w30 so I am summing that the 5w-20 would be the same

But have seen that Toyota's don't like it.

No doubt there is a case to be made for synthetic and is my preference, but a good dino oil with the prescribed oil changes will do fine and Mobil Super 5000 is a good oil that will serve you well. I would not fret, loose sleep and go broke over it, there are many vehicles on the road with mileage over 100K all on dino oil. Make sure to put a good quality oil filter, Wix and Napa Gold (made by Wix) come to mind.
