Default Wood look a like interior

I've been contemplating getting one of those interior kits that give you the wood look a like ... anyone have any experience with 'em?

this is the one that I'm looking at... but I'm not sure if I want to go with the 'tape on' type of thing living in Louisiana, as the heat tends to melt the glue...

thanks in advance

Exco

I have never cared for the wood look that is why I don't like a lot of Chryslers interiors but I would look for one that replaces your parts. It will take longer and cost more but you shouldn't have any problems with the glue.

The company Patterntek paints the design onto the trim pieces you give them. I know a customer local to me that did the wood grain interior on their Scion tC and it came out really good. Plus since it is painted on / clear coated you won't have to worry about it peeling off

I have installed several dash kits on customer cars in florida and all of the kits have held up great. The adhesive will hold up fine in hot humid conditions.Just make sure that you clean all the areas with rubbing alcohol before installation.

I painted a few parts of my interior. I am not a fan of the fake wood look.

MRK does make alot of good stuff also. I have most of their products. They also used my pictures to sell their window switches.
