Also if any of you guys want any pictures, I'll be more than happy to go take of few when it's daylight.
Thanks Eric! Where did you order from? And yes, if you can take some pics that would be great!

Cross Member (1) = 52022046AG

I paid a total of about $100 after shipping. In reality I thought it was all pretty cheap, and I just went to my local Lowes for the right size grade 8 bolt.

Hi, any luck with the photos ?

How hard are they to thread? I have seen taps before and only used one one time to fix a sparkplug hole in my very first car so I have never actually threaded a hole before. Do they come with instructions that tell you what size tap to use? I'm interested in this also! How much would they cost installed at the dealership?

First off, sorry everyone I forget to check on the forum every day but I'll go out this morning and take some pics and get them up. In regards to taps, the skid plates can be tapped easily, just make sure to put fresh cutting oil on the tap for each hole so you don't dull the cutting threads. You could have the dealer do this for you, but I'm sure they'll charge you for an hour or two of labor and in reality you can do this job by yourself no problem.

On install there is only one part that gave me a little trouble. When installing your cross member, you will need to tap 4 holes that are going in to your frame. The holes are in a tight spot at a 90 degree angle, and needless to say your frame metal is quite strong and resistance to being tapped. For the 4 bolt holes I switched to a 1/4" tap that was much closer to their hole diameter, this made it a lot easier to get it tapped without much trouble.

Ok, before anyone laughs or makes fun of me, if you have a harbor freight by you; they actually have a good set of alloy steel metric/sae tap and dye set with all you'll need.

In regards to where I ordered from, I used moparonlineparts.com. They were friendly and helpful.

Not great, but here a few pictures. Also, I wasn't able to get dropbox to allow the pictures to show up on the forum directly. Dropbox creates a webpage link with the picture, not a link that is directly the picture; so I couldn't get the html code to recognize that. If someone has any other suggestions on how to code the link I will gladly change it.

I wonder if my dealer will transfer my skids from my '11 outdoorsman quad to my '13 sport when it arrives. I'm pretty sure my truck has them but not 100%. Will have to check before my new one comes in.
