Default Auto hi beam acting up. Anyone else?

I have here been doing some night driving and when using auto hi beams the system works for a bit the disengages the turns back on then off....

Evic shows same message as if I was turning off hi beams with switch (turn signal arm) and at times it seems over sensitive and will not turn on at all.

Anyone else have this issue.

I believe it comes on the Laramie. When your high beams are on it will detect an on coming vehicle and switch them too low beams automatically and then back to high beams when the vehicle has passed.

Could be wrong though but this is how my friend explained it for his Laramie.

Mine is very over sensitive. Reflections off road side signage is enough to give the system a false positive.

Also, the auto headlamps is sensitive, overcast day or a 15 second trip through a tunnel will turn on the headlamps. Looks like Chrysler is lacking in their calibration department.

Had this feature on my 2007 Grand Cherokee. I found it completely annoying. Mine would activate when it was suppose to but would be completely delayed when a car was coming towards me. Cant tell you how many people blew their horns when they passed me. I just shut it off completely and did it manually when needed. I think Chrysler needs to look at this again and do some tweeking.

I have not had any issues with mine and I drive at night quite a bit. It sometimes will dim when seeing driveway light posts on the side of the road or if reflectors are postioned just right on the side of the road. For the majority of the time they work great. They dim when oncoming traffic is approaching or when I'm approaching a vehicle in front of me. My wife has the option on her dart as well and haven't had any issues there either.

Mine work great too. If my headlights reflect off something and come back towards the truck, they will turn off. That's to be expected though as it's a headlight and they're supposed to turn off when they sense headlights. They don't turn off for ambient lighting though. I have no complaints

Thanks for the input. Reading above no one is haveing the same issue I do.
The evic says turning on then off then on then off. Same as if I was using the on off wiper arm.
