Default Please Help!

I have a POS throttle body spacer that I need off my truck. My new intake doesn't fit as well as it should. Only problem is the bolts that are on there now are longer and wont work without the spacer. Ive called 2 different Dodge dealerships and they say Chrysler does not carry the stock bolts. Ive gone to Oreilly, Lowes, one junkyard and Home Depot and have found ones close but not close enough because they wont go in. The threading looks so close but apparently isn't. I will try calling a couple more junk yards tomorrow. I even have an ad on craigslist offering the spacer for free with the trade of the stock sized bolts and no takers. Any advice on where I can find these?

I got lucky today and was recommended a place by a home depot employee and was able to find the correct bolts. Finally got that spacer off!

NICE! Now time to upgrade to a real ported throttle body let me know if you want one guaranteed better throttle response, more HP and TQ, with no CEL codes thrown

Thanks
Jeremiah

I am unsure whether mine has already been ported. The original owner did quite a few mods so it wouldn't surprise me. The reason I saw this is it looks at if it has been machined on the back side of the butterfly. I could be wrong. But I was really looking at the BBK 87mm. Between the lt headers and high flow exhaust I was thinking I could really benefit from this. Any CEL issues with that particular BBK?

The BBK's have been known to throw codes more often then not. However ours have never thrown 1 code on any of the vehicles they have been installed on To check and see if yours has been ported already simply take off the intake and see if your has a shiny or milled finish and see if it tapers towards the butterfly or not. Or take a pic of the inside of it and post it up on the boards for us to have a look at

Thanks
Jeremiah

Ok thanks. It does look like it tapers down. The bottom of the butterfly looks grinded down. Can anyone tell me how to post a picture on here. Haha
