Yeah, I just have it shipped to the border and I go and pick it up. When I picked up the trans, I also picked up $4500 worth of other parts including my new engine, so on a day off and a tank of gas it saved my over $900 compared to shipping across the border. I have to go down next week so I'll just be dropping the trans off for shipping since it's so much cheaper within the US.

Forged motor, D-1SC Procharger starting at 9psi, and a 150 shot for the track. Last truck was N/A running mid 13s but I always wanted more.

My first track day with my old truck was Race City's final event, but I got up to Castrol twice last year after I did my top end and nitrous install. I typically head up with the ALX crowd. Grant and I have talked a few times through his Arrington head fiasco, but we have yet to actually meet. Once I get everything squared away with this build I plan to hit Castrol as much as I can until the new Balzac motorplex gets finished.

Our local ATS rep is 100% cool with power adders/tuning, 5 year 500K warranty intact

Has anybody thought about sticking the challenger 5 speed automatic in there truck. You wouldnt think that tuning would be to hard. Just get a built aftermarket version. Just go on youtube and see how twin turbos on a challenger looks like and there trannys hokd just fine right?

I'd prefer the bullet proof SRT8 Grand Cherokee drivetrain
Transmission and the AWD transfer case.

Tuning everything to work together would be the hardest part.

The srt8 front axles are known to snap so you would have to update them. But other thsn that yah. That would make for a killer ram project. Whos the guinea pig.

I looked hard at the NAG-1 swap when I first planned out my new truck. In order to get it to work with the factory electronics you'd need a stand-alone trans controller, so you've only got the PCS available, and it's now plug-and-play for the LX side, but it would require a custom harness and programming to work in the RAM. The guy in Washington was more than willing to work with me on it, but he'd need the truck down there to get the tuning done.

I was going to do an '08 GSRT drivetrain swap including PCM/TCM and run AWD but it was going to cost a LOT to do not to mention the truck being out of commission for 2-3 months.
