Default What do I sell my OEM nerf bars for?

They're in perfect condition I just don't know what a reasonable selling price is. ?? Also, is it safe to paint the bars on my grill with a rattle can? I'm a do-it yourself guy and very knowledgeable but should I have a shop paint it for me? Just a little concerned about how the paint will hold up, I know it will look decent cuz I'm a good painter

Reasonable price isn't going to be what you want to get for them. My 4" bars on my truck were bought off of eBay for $219 with shipping - granted they were not Mopar or Westin, but I save a lot over dealer price for the oem bars.

I know the oem bars (at a dealer around here - Port Jeff Dodge), they wanted close to $700 for the bars, WITHOUT installation.

For saving darn close to $500 and not getting the oem bars, I'm fine with that. It's the look, not who made it. Okay, it is who made it, but if you're saving money and ya can't afford name brand...that's what I got. If I had hundreds to spend on a nice step bar, it is always nice to have name brand and name popular, for example, Westin.

Yea that's very true about the prices. Ill try to get 300 out of them (at least I hope) lol. I thought about plasti dipping my rims and grille I just kinda wanted to go the cheaper route and rattle can it flat black. If I put enough clear on it, it shouldn't peel I'm thinking. I just don't want it to look shitty like it was obviously painted at home with spray paint

Only prob with PD is the constant step on and step off. I have seen a few over time look like ass.
It is a cheaper way and yes you can touch it up....but...I guess it's all in what you want.

I purchased my mopar wheel to wheel running boards off Craigslist for $300 still in the box and with all the mounting hardware. I thought they where priced right.
