I will like to know from those of you who owned one...what are your likes and dislikes?
How has it been treating you so far? Any regrets? Is the mpg really that good?

I love this truck it has incredible fuel eco...decent pick up, if you plan on doing little towing and little hauling than this would be the a good decision.

It passes with decent speeds on highway. THe 8 spd in my opinion has been terrific so far.

I am averaging 9.5L/100km combined (mostly highway) on the first 3k I have put on it.

I have the 3.55 with LSD and have not had single issue with it....It doesnt have the roar or power of the Hemi which I sadly do miss (I had the 2013 sport 6spd for a month lol) that mileage was burning a hole in my pocket rarely ever got under 12.5 L/100km highway) but for what I actually NEED this truck is great.

I got most of the options you can in this truck from the sport minus leather. The 8.4AN uconnect so far has been fantastic with the upgraded stereo which has impressive sound the one in the sport kept resetting on me.

I've got an SLT CC 2x4 with 3:21s and LSD (17in wheels). I've got about 2200 miles now and I typically average 21 or 22. On the hwy, I can get the claimed 25 mpg only if I keep it under 70 mph. 68 or 69 seems to be the sweet spot.
I've not towed yet but I've had 2 yards of wet (heavy) mulch in the bed and the V6 handled it very well. I used the tow/haul mode for the 8spd and it also worked perfectly.

If I could do it over again, I'd get the 3:55s and NOT get the 32gal tank.

Why would you not get the 32 gal tank? Sloshing?

My opinion:

Read the differences between the standard features of the SLT, Longhorn, Outdoorsman, and Laramie.

I got (ordered) an Outdoorsman 4X4 Crew Cab, Pentastar V6, 8 speed trans, 3.55 gears, 22T package. I liked the standard equipment of the Outdoorsman better.

Must have options for all models:

Pentastar V6
8 speed transmission
3.55 Rear Axle
ParkView rear backup camera
ParkSense rear park assist system

Options I also recommend getting:

Comfort Group
Rear Window Defroster
Chrome wheel to wheel side steps
506 watt Alpine Surround 9 speaker & subwoofer
8.4AN Navigation radio
Tri-fold Tonneau cover

I have all the above factory options installed on my Outdoorsman. MSRP $43,435 and the dealer discounted me $8,542 including incentives. I had a $2,000 trade in, plus tax, and paper work, my total cost out the door price was $35,082.

I have had the truck less than one week, but so far I am very satisfied with my purchase and the Penastar W\8 speed trans runs very good.

Yep, the sloshing is defiantly something I can feel. My main concern about the sloshing has more to do with the possibility of problems down the road with the sending unit in the tank taking a beating from the fuel sloshing around. Now I don't know if that's a legitimate concern or just an uneasy feeling I get when it happens.

I would not worry about the sloshing hurting anything. I had a 2000 Dakota that did it @3/4 full for the 12 years I owned it and no fuel pump or sending unit issues.

My understanding is that most new engine designs (all car makers) are "throw-away" engines. And the heads are basically built into the engine, not to be replaced. If that is correct, a head problem can only be correctd by replacing the entire engine.
