I have a 6600 lb dry camper about 7700 lbs loaded. Yes these trucks squat but if your hitch is set up properly it will compensate for it. I have a equalizer brand hitch that works great. When setting it up I was able to pick the rear end above stock settings and push front down below stock. I do as well have the airbags but they should only be used to compensate for weight in bed of truck and not tounge weight. Rv.net is a great sight and they as well as I can help. Give us some stock measurements of wheel well height then with trailer on then with WD hitch set up. Most likely your hitch isn't doing as much as it should. Air bags are great for hauling but should never be needed with a correctly set up WD hitch
