Well first off, have you had your speedo/odometer corrected for your larger tires? If not you are getting better MPG than what you're calculating. Without correcting your speedo/odometer your truck is reading a shorter distance than what you are going.

The overall consensus on the tuners is this... Bully Dog has better canned tunes, Trinity has the ability to custom tune. If you aren't doing enough performance mods to need a custom tune or if you don't want to get into that stuff, go with the Bully Dog.

I have the BD on my 4.7. With the stock wheels and tires and a 2.5" level I was getting 17.5 MPG consistently. I just put my 35's on today so I don't have any numbers with them yet. I definitely recommend the tuner. The truck drives so much better with it. The shift points are the biggest difference. So much nicer now. Plus there's many other features that it does. Check out Bully Dogs website for all the info.

Open up your exhaust. Get a y-pipe and a new muffler. That will give you better mpg. A ported throttle body will help a little to. I have a 2012 with 37in trail grapplers, vararam intake cat back exhaust 87mm throttle body Bt catch can. No tune. I'm getting 14 in town and 23mpg hwy on premium gas. I'm sure adjusting my speedo and a tune woul make it even better.

Many of what was mentioned above will help
Y Pipe and tuner will help the greatest
Y pipe as the stock one is simply sad and tuner, simply because you can run a tune that fits your budget, but you will increase efficiency
TB will help too.

Either way.....we can help you with all of these and can offer you a bundle pricing or multiple phase pricing

We got the Y Pipe, muffler, TB, Tuner, Catback kit, you name it...

Either way, let me know
Send me a PM or email to my username (plus the dot com)
