Default 2012 ram 1500 airbags

Tomorrow I pick up my new truck posted above and I called yesterday to my favourite parts store and my usual guy and told him to price out airbags and he said no, we keep have to warranty them in those new coil rear ends. I told him we see alot of people at work running zero pressure in there air bags and thats probably why!*I work in a tire shop as an apprentice mechanic so anytime a tire guys see's flat air bags he calls me over to verify.*

What do you guys think though? I really want air bags for when I rarely run my traillers.

I have the Airlift 1000's installed on my truck and haven't had any issues. I haven't heard of anyone having problems with either Airlift, Firestone, or TLC products. You'll be fine adding them to your truck. They're definitely a big help when it comes to hauling.

They've only been around since '09 on the coil rear springs. What could possibly be wrong when so many are running them? They are easily obtained on Amazon or TLC on this site.

I run the Airlift 1000's with 5-10 psi when not towing, and hardly notice they're there. Pump'em up to 30psi for towing and it completely eliminates any sag, and helped eliminate sway.
For $112 shipped to Canada and easy self install, it was a no-brainer. I was not a believer, but am a total convert now that I have tried them.

I have airlifts also, extremely happy with. I ran seperate lines and recommend you do too. I haul a decent amount of firewood and they work great. If you run trailers with a wdh hitch make sure that the hitch is set up proper before bags are aired up and air up bags only to compensate for weight in the truck. I pull a 7500 lb TT and usually have bags anywhere from 10-15 psi but air them up to 35 psi when hauling wood. If you don't use a wdh then air them up to max 35 psi and hitch up. If you want truck to settle a little more let air out, don't add air when hitched up. Just my 2cents. This is all in manual

^ That's true, but there are few things involved. I have to play with mine as I'm trying to get my trailer more nose-down but I'm at the bottom of my drop shank. If I air down I may have to adjust the # of chain links again, as if it gets more nose-down it will affect the weight balance F/R of the truck.
