Default Anyone have wheel to wheel stainless steel tubular boards on thieir CC?

Just bought a slt big horn cc and the dealer threw in running boards. If I want wheel to wheel, I have to go stainless steel instead of chrome. Anyone have the stainless steel ones on (mopar)? Since the truck is full of chrome, I'm trying to figure out if they have enough shine to fit in or if I should go with the cab length boards in chrome instead. Alternatively, anyone had any problems with chrome boards - I assume the stainless steel are more resistant to the elements and what not (there's a fair amount of salt used on the roads by me)

i think i'd prefer stainless over chrome because my chrome side steps are all foggy no matter what I clean them with. Trucks only 2 years old also and is annoying. I'm gettng the same side steps on my '13 but I plan to try harder to keep them shiny this time. lol

Although the ones from the factory are labeled as "Chrome Tubular Side Steps" or "Chrome Wheel To Wheel Side Steps", they are actual made of stainless steel. I was a little upset initially when I learned this was the case, because my truck will have a lot of chrome on it (Big Horn). But, after reading more about "actual" chrome side steps and talking with the accessories guy at my dealership, I'm convinced that the stainless steel composition is the way to go (especially living in an area where road salt/brine is used every winter).

My factory stainless steel tubular boards are just as bright as chrome.

I'm not sure if these are considered "wheel to wheel" or not. These are what my truck came with.

Tough to tell from that angle. But, I'd have to say those are the "Chrome Tubular Side Steps" and not the "Chrome Wheel to Wheel Side Steps". The "Wheel to Wheel" steps have one long step pad that runs the length of the cab and then one small step pad near the bed of the truck. The "Chrome Tubular Side Steps" has one long step pad (like in your photo). Regardless, they look sharp on your truck and that is the same step I ordered for my Ram.

I just ordered the stainless w2w, and they came in with black plastic end caps. Looking at the pictures online, it appeared like the aluminum steps come with the black end caps and the stainless with molded metal end caps. Even the parts guy at my dealership says the pic shows a metal cap with the same finish. I love the steps, but didnt want the cheaper plastic end caps that leak and can fall out. Was torn between these and the Raptor series. Now I can't decide what to do. Dealership is trying to figure this out for me. Anyone know someone I can call to get a reliable answer? I've already tried the supplier in Canada, and they said they only supply black caps. They don't know if they should be supplying anything different. Is it possible they have the wrong info on what they should be supplying. Some of the pics of the 82213266 side steps show metal.

Are you referring to these side steps? These are the factory ordered "Chrome Wheel to Wheel Side Steps".

http://wot.motortrend.com/moparized-...ar-side-steps/

It is my understanding that these have molded end caps.
