Default Electric Cutout?

I will be ordering my e cutout this week. Ive searched the forums and have seen members either recommending raceland, qtp, or dhm. There doesnt seem to be a definitive answer on which brand is the best. Anyone wanna chime in with why they chose their particluar brand? And are there any problems associated with this mod?

I went with DMH since a buddy of mine had them on a couple of his previous vehicles and his current one as well. He told me that's the brand I should go with. Once I looked into it DMH seemed to be the best option since it had the best warranty and since it seemed to be the least mentioned brand on the forums that people had had problems with. I went with dual DMH cutouts and I love them. The quality is top notch and the sound I get from them is amazing. I know the shop I had do the install also supplies DMH as their preferred brand of cutout as well. I would recommend DMH to anyone.

of the 3 you listed..the order should be DMH, QTP, then Raceland..

I dont believe DMH is taken orders right now... I was thinking about QTP or Doug's e-cutouts. But I have heard so many mixed reviews on QTP.

my first cutout was a qtp and it looked and worked fine..almost on par with dmh's, then I gave it to my brother in law to put on his truck and it fell apart on him, not sure why. I've been running my dmh's now for at least 4 years and a ton of miles and I've had no issues, from time to time I get under there and clean them off...

after at least 100k miles and cleaning...

I've heard the same about DMH. I personally ran the QTP for a few years before getting the new truck, and it'll be getting dual 3" QTPs shortly.

I've got the Raceland. No problems here. Pics and video in the build thread link below.

I would go with DMH if you could still get them. But dont know when that will happen. Time for more research!

I'm not sure whats going on with DMH. I was able to get mine without a problem. This was back in March, but I was able to talk to Dave on the phone and get my order taken care of. He did tell me that PayPal had royally f****d up his account and he was having a problem with them but he was still able to get my order together without a problem.

I tried to place a order the other day. You can go on the DMH site and look but wouldn't let you "check out". Also called the provided number and the number had been disconnected. I would love to have a set of the DMH cutouts but dont see when I would or even could get them.
