Default Tire question

So I'm putting a lift on my truck and I ordered a set of toyo open country 35x12.5r20. I had the stock 275/60/20 on there before. My 35s are not that much taller at all. What gives.

They're 2" taller and about 2" wider... The math to figure that out isn't very difficult.

What I'm saying is when side by side the 35s are nowhere near 2 inches taller. The are noticeably wider

Did you measure each tire to see what the actual difference is? I noticed that when I put my stock tires beside my 35's too. But when you actually put them on the truck they will look a lot bigger. Trust me.
